What are the disadvantages of a convection microwave oven?


Convection microwave ovens have become increasingly popular in recent years as an alternative to traditional microwave ovens. The convection feature requires additional components like a fan and heating element that increase the manufacturing costs. Larger Footprint

Because convection microwave ovens need to accommodate extra components, they take up more counter space than traditional models. They are wider and taller in order to fit the fan and heating elements. This larger footprint means you may need to get rid of a smaller appliance or rearrange your kitchen to find space for a convection microwave.
