This spring, Resto presents the Large Format Feast. The Large Format concept began with the success of our Cote du Beouf and Whole Roasted Poularde chalkboard items. The Large Format Feast is simple.
Pick a whole animal. Come to Resto. Feast.
Once you pick an animal, Chef Robert Hellen will design a seasonal, custom menu using the entire animal. The animal will be broken down into primal parts and prepared in a variety of different ways with items from the Union Square Green Market. All of the animals we use come from the country's best farms and purveyors such as Four Story Hills, Debragga & Spitler and Vermont Quality Meats. Moreover, our sommelier can pair your feast with our Large Format beers and wine – wines and beers so large they had to name them after ancient kings.
This season's offerings will include:
- Spring Lamb
- Guinea Hen
- Suckling Pig
- Whole Striped Bass (M/A)
- Spring Goat
- Poularde en Demi-Deuil
